I cannot believe we are already to the month of August, the Summer always seems to fly by. As many of us wrap up the Summer, spending some last moments relaxing on vacation and enjoying the laid back pace, we also know that the Fall is just around the corner.

As a way of marking this coming transition we will have an Ice Cream Social with Backpack Blessing at 4 PM on Sunday August 25th. Even if you don’t have a backpack to be blessed (briefcases are welcome too!) please join us for this time of fellowship, and think about a friend or neighbor you might invite to come along!

A little bit further down the calendar we will hold our annual Kick Off Sunday on September 15th with the return of the Choir to the 10 AM service as well as a parish potluck. So please save the date and again, think of friends and neighbors you could ask to join us.
