The Progressive Dinner is a movable potluck feast, and a venerable tradition at St. David's. Participates are assigned to a host home for the appetizer course, and assigned to a different host home (with different participants) for the entree & dessert courses.
We welcome all pets and their human companions. For everyone’s safety, please make sure your animals are leashed or otherwise safely contained. This is an interfaith, interspecies event.
Come enjoy some delicious food, make some new friends, and reconnect with longtime friends, courtesy of the Interact Club of Glenbrook South High School! All in the lower level (undercroft) of St. David’s Episcopal Church, 2410 Glenview Rd (corner of Glenview and Shermer Rd., enter the parking lot from Shermer) on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30pm. No matter who you are or where you’re from, if you are a human being who appreciates food and community, you are most welcome and encouraged to dine with us!
We are excited to share this good news with you! The 2019 Glenbrook CROP Hunger Walk is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the CROP Hunger Walk movement started in 1969 by Church World Service (CWS). Since 1969, CROP Hunger Walks have been staged every year across the country with the proceeds helping those in need both globally and locally. This is a major volunteer effort. In fact last year (2018) CWS sponsored 800+ Walks that included over 87,000+ Walkers and raised $8.3+ million to help end hunger!
