Welcome Julie and Justin. Thank you Bill! Baptisms.

If you were at Church this past Sunday, then you heard the exciting news that we have hired both a new Interim Director of Music, Dr. Julie Brueck, as well as an Interim Assistant Organist, Justin Brueck. For many of you those names will be familiar as they have served in this capacity a number of years ago. I am so thankful that they are willing do so, and on such short notice. They have already officially begun, and their first Sunday will be this week; welcome Julie and Justin!

I also wanted to say one last big Thank You to our very own Dr. William Aylesworth for filling in these past two months! Not every parish is as lucky as we are to have such an accomplished and talented retired organist sitting in the pews to call upon when needed!  Thank you so much Bill!

And finally, I wanted everyone to be aware that this coming Sunday, in addition to welcoming Julie and Justin, we will have a pair of Baptisms. Please be sure to join us this Sunday as we welcome Grace and Bennett into the Body of Christ through the Sacrament of Baptism at the 10 AM service.

See you in Church!

Peace,

Fr Adler+

p.s. Just a reminder that if you haven’t yet done so, please fill out and turn in your financial commitment to St. David’s for the coming year, either stop by the office and drop it off, or email it to our Bookkeeper (bookkeeper@stdavidsglenview.org). Thank you!

“Dominion” Extra Credit

Last week’s chapter was titled: “Heaven,” and dwelt on such topics as the end of the world as well as what happens to people after they die. I don’t have any historical videos for you this week, but here are a few videos from the Bible Project that reflects on some related themes.
