“Inwardly Digest” Book Has Arrived
Earlier in the Summer I invited all in the parish to join in reading a book published by Forward Movement: “Inwardly Digest: The Prayer Book As Guide to a Spiritual Life” by Derek Olsen.
As it says in the subtitle, the book delves into the Prayer Book that we use each and every Sunday and finds that it’s more than just “a service book; it is a map to a deeper relationship with God, a framework for developing a more intentional and rewarding life of faith.”
If you placed an order with the Office and paid ($20) you are welcome to stop by the Church and pick it up, or of course simply pick it up on Sunday morning. If you didn’t place an order with the office, you are still welcome to grab a copy yourself either at the Forward Movement website or at Amazon.
I haven’t yet set a date for our discussion of this book, but here are the three options:
